Have you seen those ghost hunting videos?

Where people would enter abandoned places and haunted houses looking for paranormal beings

And when they do come across one

They scream at the top of their lungs and run away

I don't understand why people do this. First, they ask for something, then once they get it, they try to get away.

Could be that they are uncertain about these things, and they just want to see them, or just enjoy being scared to death.

Don't know. But...

This is what most business owners are doing who complain their leads don't response.

First, they ask the leads to come in, and once they do, they run away.

And also make them run away

And this happens because of this one action

They don't get back on time.

A lead comes on Monday, and business owners are getting back after 12-24 hours, even DAYS

Then are confused on why they aren't replying when they wanted to talk to us

Simple answer

They either got busy with other responsibilities, lost interest, or found someone else who got back to them

This is most likely the case with leads you get from marketing

Because they are not contacting you only, they are contacting multiple businesses in your area
