Launched something and it didn't work. Do not consider it a failure. Unless you do something outrageous, it's always a success. Here's what I mean

If you tried to run ads, and they didn’t work

Do not consider it a failure…

In marketing, what you think about your audience, in terms of how they think, might not be true

Leading to low or bad responses

In reality, there is no failure in marketing

There’s only data you can use to improve next time

(Unless you do something outrageous throwing your reputation out of the window…)

Therefore, you should never consider your marketing to be successful, without testing it out on a small scale:

  • Small Budget

  • Small audience

Once you see that things are working, you can invest more, and get more of the good results

Just don’t throw everything into an idea that you think will work, but have no data to back it up

An advance way to get data, is before launch, show your ad to one of your best customers, and see their reaction

This will tell whether the campaign is worth running or not

And no matter the result, it’ll be data you can us to improve

Because truly, there is no failure in marketing.
