It's true that online leads are bad, and there's a specific reason for it. Once you understand it, you'll be able to make them as good (or even better) then your referrals.

A lot of business owners say online leads don’t work

They follow the same process that made them successful, and still the leads don’t close

Leading to the conclusion that online marketing doesn’t work for their business

And you are right to say this, because referrals are not a headache as:

  • Tire kickers

  • Non serious

  • Time wasters

  • Ghost mid conversation

  • Etc

  • Don’t trust you

  • Have objections

  • Have false perceptions

  • Don’t know if the product is worth it

  • Don’t know if you are better then the competition

To the point where you ask them to call/visit/buy

From first interaction on FB ad, to website, to deciding to call

They’ll be much better ‘prepped’, allowing you to qualify, and close

Online marketing can act as a client acquisition channel independent of your referrals

Allowing you to get more clients, and make more money
